Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Packet Media Ltd was formed in 2002 and since 2006 Julian Gallimore, one of the original partners, has led the team purchasing MX Digital in 2009. Today, the business provides GSM gateway and multi-media contact centre solutions either hosted or on the customer's premises. This complementary range of services combines to meet the needs of a diverse selection of industry sectors and customer requirements. Priding itself on excellent customer service, the company has been recently awarded a Knowledge Transfer Fund through Staffordshire University, granted by Advantage West Midlands. This funding is enabling Packet Media to continue developing the professional services it offers, which in turn adds value to current and future customers' own businesses. Long-standing ties with Staffordshire University allows Packet Media access to cutting-edge, local, technical talent which means the company remains at the forefront of technological developments and the latest business practices.
